Follow these usability recommendations:
-
Headings and Titles - Most users spend most of their time scanning rather than reading information from a website. Users should strive to use as many headings as necessary that are unique and descriptive of the subject matter. -
Headings and Title Accuracy - Ensure that the headings and titles are accurate and reflects the information that is presented. Users will have problems with understanding vague, generalized links, and clever headings and titles.
-
Descriptive Headings - Use descriptive headings throughout a website. Your user will gain trust in your description and will move quickly to make a decision to buy.
-
Highlight Critical Data - Highlight important page items that require user attention. Items might include recently changed data, new products, new promotions, etc. Don't overdo highlights to maintain a high level of importance.
